In the selling of my former house, and the buying of my new house, Ian carefully listened to what was important to us, and helped us to accomplish our goals. The process of buying and selling a house is always complex, but everything went as smoothly as it could have, thanks to Ian. He was able to set us up with internet listings of houses for sale based on our unique search criteria within a few hours of talking to him on the phone. Throughout the whole search process he answered all of our questions quickly, and gave us good advice. Often times he would mention other things to consider, but was never pushy in doing so.
We felt very comfortable with Ian, and were able to make an offer on a house to buy in one week. He guided us through that process, making sure that we knew the true value of the property we were interested in, and helped us to determine what dollar amount to make as our offer. Since we were in competition with other people interested in the same house, I relied upon Ian's experience to make a good decision. It was nerve wracking...I can't imagine how we could have done it without Ian's help! In the following week, we were able to get our house ready to show, and had 4 offers on the first night it was listed! He helped us greatly in the sale of our house to consider all of the variables involved so that we were able to decide which of the 4 offers was best to accept.
