at the Methodist Church parking lot and the Deraney Band performing at the Plaza. You are encouraged to dress in 50's and 60's attire. Sponsored by the Bicentennial Commitee.
Salute to Patriotism
Free Hot Dogs and Cakes from 5:00-6:00 with the Salute to Patriotism beginning at 6:00. Please bring your own chair.

Dairy Festival Cookout and Street Dance
at the Plaza- Hot Dogs and Hamburgers with all the trimmings, will be cooked out from 6:00-7:00 with entertainment by Sally and the Six Grand Band from 7:00-10:00. Blues, Brews, & BBQ, The Larry Griffith Band
Larry Griffith is a blues singer, songwriter,
and performer originally from Cincinnati,
Ohio, and currently based out of Atlanta.
Griffith has performed as a drummer for
Sean Costello, Taj Mahal, along with
Grammy Award winning best new artist
Susan Tedeschi and many, many others.
A few short years ago, he strapped on an
electric guitar and forged his own path as
lead singer of the wildly entertaining Larry
Griffith Band. You can learn more about
Larry Griffith and check out samples of his

Rib Shack will be serving $10 BBQ meals
at this event. Shane’s will donate 20% of
their profits to Meet Me at The Plaza to
help further fundraising efforts.

A1A Live, The Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band
Parrotheads, we’ve heard your pleas
for more A1A, the Official and Original
Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show. A1A has
been known as the Official and Original
Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show since 1992.
They are the first ever Buffett Tribute
band to put on a high-energy, four-hour
show composed of nothing but his best
songs, spanning every era of his career.
A1A is the only JB tribute band personally
sanctioned by Jimmy Buffett himself. Get
your tickets in advance at local banks
and the Chamber office for $8 each.
Tickets may also be
purchased at the
door for $10 each.

The Common People Band
The Common People Band, one of the
most popular bands in the Southeast, is
much more than a band, it’s an institution
whose members have entertained
wonderful crowds in the southeast for
the past 20 years. The Common People
Band is a seven member musical show
that features the music of the 60’s
and 70’s with a particular emphasis
on classic Motown sounds. The group
performs songs by The Temptations,
The Four Tops, and Marvin Gaye. The
band has played with the Mary Jane
Girls, Roger and the Zapp Band, James
Brown, Richie Havens, Black Elvis and
Tyrone Davis to name a few.
