As a young man after college, I spent time working as a Los Angeles County probation officer and later, while in Montana for 13 years, worked as a VISTA Volunteer, pumpman in underground cooper mines, cowboy, and welder. I developed an area of several cabins and barns on 80 acres near the Madison River. I became director of the Bozeman Commumity Development Agency and earned a Masters in Public Administration and a CPA at Montana State University.

After working in Public Accounting for several years in Western Colorado, a client recruited me to become the controller for a large Western Colorado oil and gas distributer. My next challange was returning to main street accounting as Managing Partner of a CPA firm in Lodi, CA. My consulting work led me to become Senior VP with an international capital corporation which took me to Atlanta in 1991. A few years later I retired for about ten years and spent time importing oil paintings from Russia while investing in Georgia Real Estate. Patricia and I moved to the Lake Oconee area when our son attended UGA. With the help of Jack and Jason Minchey we became more actively involved in local Real Estate on both Sinclair and Oconee.

Our daughter is graduating from San Francisco State University and our second son, now doing graduate work in rocket science at the University of Michigan.

We love this area and are excited about the long term growth opportunities.
